Our return policy is simple.
Dealer Return & Refund Policy
Effective Date: January 01, 2026
This Dealer Return & Refund Policy applies to wholesale purchases made by approved dealers through the Normandy Knives dealer website.
This Dealer Return & Refund Policy forms part of the Normandy Knives Terms & Conditions and Wholesale Dealer Agreement and is incorporated into those agreements by reference.
By placing a wholesale order, Dealer agrees that returns, refunds, credits, and related matters will be governed by this Policy.
Because dealer purchases are intended for resale, this Policy differs from the return policy applicable to individual retail consumers.
30-Day Dealer Return Period
Dealers may request to return eligible merchandise within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for a full merchandise refund, returned products must be:
- new;
- unused;
- undamaged;
- complete;
- in original packaging; and
- suitable for resale as new merchandise.
All Dealer returns require prior authorization from Normandy.
Please do not send merchandise back without first obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”).
Return Authorization
To request an RMA, contact:
support@normandyknives.com
Please provide:
- Dealer business name;
- order number;
- product or products being returned;
- quantities;
- reason for the return; and
- photographs or other documentation if requested.
Normandy will provide return instructions after the return has been approved.
Opened or Non-Resalable Merchandise
Merchandise that has been:
- opened;
- handled;
- displayed;
- marked;
- stickered;
- damaged;
- modified; or
- otherwise altered from its original condition
may be subject to a 20% restocking fee if Normandy agrees to accept the return.
Products showing material:
- use;
- abuse;
- modification;
- damage; or
- other conditions that make them unsuitable for resale as new merchandise
may be refused for return.
A product with a potential manufacturing defect should be reported as a defective-product claim rather than treated as a standard Dealer return.
Defective, Damaged, Short, or Incorrect Merchandise
If Normandy ships an incorrect item or merchandise arrives:
- damaged;
- defective;
- short; or
- otherwise incorrect,
please notify Normandy promptly.
Shipping-related damage, shortages, and incorrect shipments should be reported within 5 business days of delivery whenever reasonably possible.
Normandy may request photographs or other documentation to assist with review of the claim.
For verified:
- Normandy shipping errors;
- transit damage;
- shortages; or
- qualifying defects in newly received Dealer inventory,
Normandy will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:
- replacement merchandise;
- account credit;
- refund; or
- prepaid return shipping.
Return Shipping
For a standard Dealer return based on:
- preference;
- excess inventory;
- Dealer ordering error; or
- another reason not caused by Normandy,
the Dealer is responsible for return shipping costs.
For a verified:
- defective product;
- incorrect shipment;
- shipping error; or
- other error caused by Normandy,
Normandy will provide or reimburse reasonable return shipping as appropriate.
Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable except when:
- the return results from an error by Normandy; or
- applicable law requires otherwise.
Refunds and Credits
Refunds or account credits are issued after Normandy receives and inspects the returned merchandise.
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method unless Normandy and the Dealer agree to:
- an account credit; or
- another arrangement.
Please allow reasonable processing time after returned merchandise is received.
Normandy reserves the right to deduct applicable amounts for:
- restocking fees;
- missing merchandise;
- missing accessories;
- damaged packaging;
- product damage; or
- other amounts permitted under this Policy.
Products Sold to Retail Customers
Once a Dealer has sold a Normandy product to an end customer, product-performance or manufacturing-defect concerns should generally be handled through Normandy’s Lifetime Warranty rather than this Dealer inventory return policy.
Retail customers may contact Normandy directly for warranty support at:
support@normandyknives.com
Dealers may assist customers with warranty questions but may not issue warranty commitments on Normandy’s behalf beyond Normandy’s published warranty.
Non-Returnable Merchandise
Normandy may designate certain products or transactions as non-returnable where clearly disclosed before purchase.
This may include, where applicable:
- specially ordered merchandise;
- custom merchandise;
- discontinued clearance items;
- specially discounted liquidation merchandise; or
- other items expressly identified as final sale.
This section does not limit remedies for merchandise that arrives damaged, defective, short, or incorrect.
Legal and Shipping Restrictions
Returned products must be shipped in accordance with applicable:
- federal law;
- state law;
- local law; and
- carrier requirements.
The Dealer is responsible for following return instructions provided with the RMA.
Abuse of Return Privileges
Normandy reserves the right to limit, suspend, or deny return privileges where there is evidence of:
- fraudulent return activity;
- repeated abuse of return policies;
- intentional product damage;
- unauthorized product substitution; or
- other material misuse of the Dealer return process.
Any suspension or termination of Dealer privileges will also be subject to the Wholesale Dealer Agreement.
