Lifetime Warranty & Dealer Warranty Information
Effective Date: January 01, 2026
Reliability You Can Feel. A Warranty You Can Trust.
Normandy Knives stands behind the quality of its products.
Normandy knives are warranted for life subject to the terms and exclusions described below.
This Lifetime Warranty is referenced in the Normandy Knives Terms & Conditions and Wholesale Dealer Agreement and governs Normandy’s published warranty obligations for qualifying products.
This page is also provided for Normandy dealers so that our dealers understand the warranty Normandy provides to retail customers and how warranty-related issues should be handled.
Lifetime Product Warranty
A Normandy knife should be treated and used as a knife.
Using a knife for purposes other than those for which it was designed may constitute abuse and may void warranty coverage.
Normandy knives are not designed to be used as:
- screwdrivers;
- chisels;
- pry bars;
- punches;
- forks;
- throwing knives; or
- other improvised tools.
Damage resulting from:
- abuse;
- neglect;
- misuse;
- accident;
- improper sharpening;
- unauthorized modification;
- improper disassembly; or
- introduction of damaging foreign substances
is not covered by the Lifetime Warranty.
Cosmetic Wear
Normal cosmetic wear and tear may include:
- paint loss;
- fading;
- discoloration;
- scratches;
- chips;
- finish wear; or
- other cosmetic changes resulting from normal use.
These conditions may be serviceable, but normal cosmetic wear is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by the Lifetime Warranty.
Warranty Determination
Warranty eligibility and the appropriate remedy are determined by Normandy after review of the product and circumstances of the claim.
Depending on the issue, Normandy may:
- repair;
- service; or
- replace
a qualifying product at Normandy’s discretion.
Replacement products may not always be identical in color, finish, generation, packaging, or configuration if the original product is no longer available.
Dealer Inventory Claims
The Lifetime Warranty should not be used as a substitute for reporting merchandise that arrives:
- damaged;
- defective;
- short; or
- incorrect
in a Dealer shipment.
Dealers who receive merchandise with an apparent manufacturing defect or shipping-related issue should contact Normandy promptly under our Dealer Shipping Policy or Dealer Return & Refund Policy.
This allows Normandy to correct dealer inventory issues before the product is sold to an end customer.
Warranty Claims From Retail Customers
Retail customers who experience a warranty issue with a Normandy product may contact Normandy directly for warranty assistance.
Dealers may assist customers in locating Normandy warranty information, but Dealers should not promise a specific:
- repair;
- replacement;
- refund; or
- other remedy
before Normandy has reviewed the warranty claim.
Dealers are not authorized to modify, expand, or make additional warranty commitments on Normandy’s behalf.
Retail warranty questions may be directed to:

Registered Knife Loss or Theft Benefit
In addition to the Lifetime Warranty, Normandy currently offers a separate benefit for qualifying registered knives.
A properly registered knife that is lost or stolen may qualify for a one-time replacement, subject to a $50 deductible plus shipping and Normandy’s then-current registration-program terms.
Knives purchased directly from Normandy’s consumer website may be automatically registered where applicable.
Customers who purchase a Normandy knife from an authorized Dealer should register their knife through Normandy’s Lifetime Warranty Registration page to receive applicable registered-knife benefits.
This loss or theft benefit is:
- separate from the Lifetime Warranty;
- limited to qualifying registered products;
- subject to verification;
- subject to applicable deductibles and shipping charges;
- subject to product availability; and
- subject to Normandy’s then-current program terms.
Normandy may modify or discontinue this separate program prospectively.
Dealer Responsibilities
Dealers may communicate Normandy’s published warranty and registration benefits to customers.
Dealers may not:
- alter Normandy’s warranty;
- extend Normandy’s warranty;
- create additional obligations on Normandy’s behalf;
- guarantee a warranty outcome; or
- promise eligibility for the loss or theft replacement program.
Our Commitment
We want Normandy dealers and Normandy customers to have confidence in the products we sell.
If a Dealer or customer has an unusual situation that does not fit neatly within these guidelines, we encourage them to contact us.
Normandy will review the circumstances and work toward a fair solution whenever reasonably possible.
